Firming Ritual from The Body Shop | Review

Get the green light for summer

balance body and mind

On the 18th of July The Body Shop launched their new collection to balance body and mind. The new Firming Ritual infused with a blend of fruit extracts to empower skin, body and mind with a three-step firming spa ritual.
There are 4 new products in the Firming Ritual collection and I’ve been trying them out for the past couple of weeks.
french grape seed scrub
Grape seeds are prized for their high polyphenol content, this is an antioxidant that is known to help firm the skin and it’s one of the main ingredients in this exfoliating body scrub.
French Grape Seed Scrub infused with grape seed powder from France and Community Trade organic sugar from Paraguay to exfoliate and refine the skin.
This product is my favourite, it really does work, you can see the result right after the ritual. Skin feels smoother and softer. After using this scrub you might not feel like using body cream at all, because it is so moisturised and nourished.
ethiopian green coffee cream
I’m a big fan of The Body Shop Body Butters and this one is perfect for summer. Ethiopian Green Coffee Cream has slightly different texture, it feels light and not greasy at all. Enriched with high-in-caffeine organic Ethiopian green coffee and Community Trade olive oil from Italy to help skin feel firmer and smoother.
thai makrut lime firming oil
Soybean Oil and Grapeseed Oil are the main ingredients of the new Thai Makrut Lime Firming Oil. Grapeseed Oil really helps to firm your skin and with marula oil it nourishes the skin too. I use it with Indian Turtle Massager to stimulate blood flow on problems areas.

I really love all of these four new Firming Ritual products from The Body Shop Spa Of The World collection, but my favourite, as I mention before, is French Grape Seed Scrub.
Have you tried any of these products yet?

Almond Milk & Honey The Body Shop | Review

Make peace with sensitive skin

#LOVENOTWAR

The Body Shop did it again! Another body care range I fell in love with immediately. On the 14th of February The Body Shop launched their new collection for sensitive and dry skin - Almond Milk & Honey, and OMG it is a miracle in a bottle.
I've tried almost everything from the range and loved it so much. As this range was made for a sensitive skin, it is free from colorants, mineral oil and silicone and it is 100% vegetarian and dermatologically tested. It contains community-trade almond oil from Spain, community-trade honey from Ethiopia, organic almond milk, glycerin, soybean oil and shea butter and hypoallergenic fragrance.
Let's start with the packaging, it is simple and beautiful, all these white bottles look so stylish on my bathroom shelf.
Next, smell. Amazing! I'm not into sweet almond scents, but this one makes me feel so relaxed and calm. It smells like spa. Moving on to the products.
DOES GOOD, FEELS GOOD
Almond Milk & Honey Soothing & Caring Shower Cream (RRP £5) reminds me of one of my favourite product from The Body Shop - Shea shower cream. It is soap free shower gel, which won't strip your skin of moisture, so you don't need to use any body cream after.
Gently Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub (RRP £15) perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It gently buffs away all dry flakes and leaves you with an adorable soft skin.
Soothing & Restoring Body Lotion (RRP £8.50) protect against uncomfortable tight and itchy skin. Lightweight and fast-absorbing.
Soothing & Restoring Body Butter (RRP £15) enriched with soybean oil and shea butter so you can say goodbye to your dry skin.

Aside from shower cream, scrub, body lotion and butter, the line also includes a cleansing bar, bath milk and hand cream.
All range smells absolutely divine and it is a real treat to the skin and the senses. The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey collection launched 14th February 2017 and you can find it here www.thebodyshop.com
