Mother's Day last minute gift ideas

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I want to share with you some of my gift ideas.
My mum work hard, so I want her to know just how much she is appreciated and loved, that is why I like to pamper her. Day in a spa seems like a perfect gift, isn't? And I believe it can make her feel truly special.
If you are not particularly inspired or maybe low on a budget, it is better to go for a flowers, because everyone loves it. My mum loves orchids, so I always know what to buy if I'm running out of ideas.
Something to continue her spa treatment - skin care or body care and for this year I chose this beautiful Comice Pear & Wild Honey hand gift set from Molton Brown. I fell in love with Rhubarb & Rose range and now I found my new favourite. "Succulent pears dipped in wild Gloucestershire honey with fresh gardenia and sweet biscuit.." Sounds good, right?
Molton Brown introduces their new limited edition Gourmand Collections with the launch of their delectable Comice Pear & Wild Honey fragrance - a delectably tempting blend of juicy pear, refreshing bergamot and mouth-watering honey that ignites the senses, conjuring up a sun-drenched stroll round an English orchard. The patisserie-influenced products truly smell good enough to eat, believe me. Also you can get free patisserie parlour stickers with all gifting purchases from Molton Brown.
I hope you got inspired and now you will spoil your Mum with a special Mother's Day gift!

Almond Milk & Honey The Body Shop | Review

Make peace with sensitive skin

The Body Shop did it again! Another body care range I fell in love with immediately. On the 14th of February The Body Shop launched their new collection for sensitive and dry skin - Almond Milk & Honey, and OMG it is a miracle in a bottle.
I've tried almost everything from the range and loved it so much. As this range was made for a sensitive skin, it is free from colorants, mineral oil and silicone and it is 100% vegetarian and dermatologically tested. It contains community-trade almond oil from Spain, community-trade honey from Ethiopia, organic almond milk, glycerin, soybean oil and shea butter and hypoallergenic fragrance.
Let's start with the packaging, it is simple and beautiful, all these white bottles look so stylish on my bathroom shelf.
Next, smell. Amazing! I'm not into sweet almond scents, but this one makes me feel so relaxed and calm. It smells like spa. Moving on to the products.
Almond Milk & Honey Soothing & Caring Shower Cream (RRP £5) reminds me of one of my favourite product from The Body Shop - Shea shower cream. It is soap free shower gel, which won't strip your skin of moisture, so you don't need to use any body cream after.
Gently Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub (RRP £15) perfect for dry and sensitive skin. It gently buffs away all dry flakes and leaves you with an adorable soft skin.
Soothing & Restoring Body Lotion (RRP £8.50) protect against uncomfortable tight and itchy skin. Lightweight and fast-absorbing.
Soothing & Restoring Body Butter (RRP £15) enriched with soybean oil and shea butter so you can say goodbye to your dry skin.

Aside from shower cream, scrub, body lotion and butter, the line also includes a cleansing bar, bath milk and hand cream.
All range smells absolutely divine and it is a real treat to the skin and the senses. The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey collection launched 14th February 2017 and you can find it here

NEW Kiehl's Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream | Review

NEW Kiehl's Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream has a 99.6% naturally-derived formula, it contains two world-renowned wellness ingredients that had a known ability to increase skin's resistance and recovery from damage - New Zealand Manuka Honey and Korean Ginseng Root.
Korean red ginseng root boosts cell turnover and renewal, revealing the bright, glowing skin underneath, it increases skin hydration, barrier function and collagen production. Manuka Honey is valued for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, it repairs and strengthens skin’s protective moisture barrier to shield that new skin from damage.
It is a lightweight cream that smells like honey with vanilla and feels so soothing on my skin. Although I have an oily skin, I tend to have a dry patches on my cheeks during wintertime. I've been trying Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream only for a week and my skin feels moisturised, nourished and appears more radiant, so this cream is definitely my MUST for winter.

The Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream (50ml) retails at £49 is available online and will be available in stores from February 8th.

Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang collection

I know it's only November, but if you don't want to stress this Christmas with last minute shopping, create your list with ideas and gifts now.  And about gifts, recently I got this gorgeous gift set of the Ylang Ylang Collection from Molton Brown just in time for Christmas. Ylang Ylang is inspired by Madagascar. A special blend of yuan zhi extract and Madagascan ylang-ylang oil are believed to calm the senses and bring harmony. The smell of this collection is unbelievable, it takes off all the stress from your mind.

I love this body wash, it forms a creamy rich lather, but never strips the skin and leaves a delicate scent without being overpowering.
Nourishing body lotion is a MUST-HAVE, it's not just the name, it really does make wonders to your skin.
I've never tried their body scrubs before, so I was really excited and I have to admit it is one of the best scrubs I've ever tried. It contains black vanilla grains and exfoliates really well and at the same time it hydrates your skin. It's like a spa in the tub. Well done, Molton Brown!
A relaxing, indulgent eau de toilette blended with notes of ylang-ylang, cardamom and vanilla, left a sweet honeyed trail of woody notes on your skin, perfect scent for cold weather.

Overall, I can totally recommend to try this gift set, because all products are amazing.

Also there are three limited Christmas editions: Fabled Juniper berries & Lapp Pine, Festive Frankincense & Allspice and Vintage 2016 with Elderflower. Have a look at the candles, they all look fantastic!

There are some top tips from lead manicurist Rita Remark to guarantee your nail selfie is as fabulous as you are:

· Before painting your nails, clean thoroughly with soap and water to remove all dirt and residue from your nails…it also doesn’t hurt to use a bit of hand sanitizer too

· Always use a base coat – not only does it anchor your polish, but it also protects your nails like a shield. This is an essential step for the perfect mani!

· Remember nobody’s perfect! If you colour outside of the lines, just take a make-up brush dipped in a little bit of nail polish remover, and it wipes away like it never happened. Just make sure you remember to wash it thoroughly before using it again!

Entry to the Colour Portrait Studio closes on the 28th April, for full terms and conditions visit

The essie Spring 2016 Collection will be available to buy in Superdrug, Boots, and online at and from 13th April – 30th May 2016.

Skin Food

Try flower power for yourself

Weleda was the first natural skincare I've tried almost 10 years ago. I love their Calendula range and when I had to buy a shampoo for my newborn son, I got Weleda Baby Calendula Shampoo & Bodywash straight away. I've been using Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil and Lavender Relaxing Body Oil for years and recently I came across something I  have never tried before - Skin Food.

I don't know how I missed it but Skin Food was introduced in 1926, so it is celebrating 90 years as an iconic beauty classic.
Skin Food is a thick, rich, yet gentle, cream that is used for rough, dry skin. It is unique because you can use it anywhere on your body. Skin Food can be used as a hand cream, lip balm and for cracked areas such as feet and heels. It is something everyone should have at home because it really does wonders on dry skin.
The ingredients are 100% natural and include extract of organic chamomile, organic calendula and wild pansy to soothe rough skin and soothing rosemary with mild antiseptic properties to revitalise dull complexions.
It's refreshing fragrance made from pure essential oils including sweet orange and lavandulae, so artificial preservatives or parabens are not needed.

Weleda Skin Food available from Whole Food Market, Waitress, Ocado, Holland & Barrets or direct from Weleda.

Today I'm reviewing serum from Radical skincare. What is it? A hydrating serum containing antioxidants of green coffee, grape seed, acai, green tea, and a Swiss apple extract that helps to fight free radicals.

This serum created to radically boost hydration levels in the skin while firming at maximum levels. Suitable for all skin types,  for anyone looking to help hydrate skin and help to address the appearance of the signs of aging.
Radical is using trylacel technology combines multiple antioxidants and moisturizing ingredients by encapsulating them in a bi-lipid layer membrane.

There are so many interesting ingredients in this serum: plan extracts and antioxidants. Xylitylglucoside anhydroxylitol xylitol is a sugar and it is thought to help the skin retain its natural moisture and boost levels of hyaluronic acid. There are also light deflecting minerals that may reduce the appearance of wrinkle.

Use this serum daily and nightly and follow with your moisturiser. It immediately makes your skin looks plumper, healthier and more dewy.

No cream I know of is going to make your skin like that of a young girl but using products with antioxidants you can improve your skin and help protect and prevent further damage.

NEW IN: Benefit Porefessional Matte Rescue & Instant Wipeout

Recently Benefit launched two new products: Porefessional Matte Rescue Invisible Mattifying Gel and Porefessional Instant Wipeout Super-Cleaning masks.

The Instant Matte invisible mattifying gel is a lightweight, water based gel primer that's applied to clean skin before makeup to absorb surface oil and shine and to blur imperfections and pores. Benefit recommend using it as a duo with the original Professional for truly pore free and shine free skin. So I applied the POREfessional Matte Rescue primer, followed up with Hello Flawless foundation and after couple hours my combination skin was still matte. Amazing, right?

The Instant Wipeout Masks come in cute briefcase full of pouches, 8 masks to be exact, which needed "activating" before use. You press the "emergency button" plastic bubble to release the liquid, peel off the pouch and apply with smooth side where needed.

You place the mask onto the problem area for 10 minutes and then use the other side to lightly exfoliate your skin. So clever! My pores had tightened and they appeared smaller, but unfortunately all my blackheads were still in place. How sad:(
Have you tried any of these products? What do you think?
